Crafters Cooperative

Crafters Cooperative is a community of crafters of all kinds, knitting, sewing, paper crafts, mixed media, macrame, resin.. you name it, it happens here!

Crafters Cooperative started as a spin-off from our ever-so-popular Happy Hour, which is our weekly well-being session. At Happy Hour after many chats we realised that one of the ways many people supported their own well-being was through hands-on activities, and especially crafts of all kinds.

Crafters Cooperative is a weekly session, it's peer led so everyone comes along with their own project (it's not a taught class), however within the group there are so many with such fantastic knowledge and skills, you can't help but learn something whilst you are there!

There's always tea, biscuits, laughter and support.

There's no need to pre-book, there's no membership requirements, and you can attend every week or once a month! It's up to you!

Our aim is to make community creativity accessible for everyone! We've even had intergenerational sessions in the school holidays with grandchildren, nieces, nephews popping along too to share the crafting bug!

The Crafters make items for family and friends, to gift, and to fundraise for their favourite charities.

You can join CC every Wednesday from 9.30am - 12 Noon.
