Gourmet Kids August 2023!

🌶️ We love our monthly family cook-along. We had children from age three safely using knives, scissors and hobs to make our Gemma’s secret recipe One-Pot Mexican Chilli Beef (Which is now not a secret) in our session yesterday

🧅 It’s packed full of vegetables, lean meat, pulses and lovely fragrant spices and it went down a treat. Everyone customised their own adding their own variety of ingredients. Each portion cost £1.00 however a lot was store cupboard ingredients so if you were making it at home it would most definitely be less, and you can always swap and drop ingredients as to what you’ve got at home to use. 🍅

👧 We had children from six different nurseries and schools which is always lovely to see, and we even have a family who travel from Gateshead as there’s no sessions like ours in their area! How fab is that! 👦
