Gourmet Kids Stir Up a Treat


Tonight our little chefs prepare, cooked and ate a vegetable rice stir fry in a homemade sweet and sour sauce šŸ˜‹


We began the session with vegetable identification šŸ„•


We learned how to finely diceā€¦ or ā€œmacedoingā€ in the cheffy world! Dicing takes patience and precision! šŸ”Ŗ


We upped the skills tonight by introducing cooking on the hob! We used our problem solving skills to come up with a safety at the hob checklist šŸ„˜


We finished the session with a taste test and then took the rest of our dish home to share with our families.


This recipe cost 7ļøāƒ£4ļøāƒ£ pence per portion, and could have been cheaper with swaps and drops and can be easily adapted depending on what youā€™ve got in your fridge, freezer and cupboards. A great one pan, super quick recipe for family dinners šŸš
