Over the summer as well as running our holiday clubs we have been very busy planning our new sessions.
At SYP we continuously aim to improve and provide the best possible provision for our young people. We asked the children what it is they want, and what changes we can make for them to have an even more enjoyable and fun experience at SYP š
Our sessions will be restarting on Monday the 16th of September and will run until the 29th of November.
Take a look at our new timetable! All children need to be brought to the first session by a parent or guardian who can complete the emergency contact/consent forms.
We have split our Mini Junior and Junior sessions to separate nights. This is so we are able to deliver more age appropriate, safe activities to our young people.
We also have two new sessions, on a Tuesday we have our transition group and on a Wednesday we have SYP Stars.
Our Transition group is aimed at new Year 7's and Year 6's who are due to start Year 7 next year. It is a small group session for those who are in between moving from junior sessions to senior.
Our SYP Stars sessions are part of a 10 week scheme with activities delivered by Live Well North East. The children who attend will take part in activities such as Boxercise with the aim of building confidence and resilience, improving friendships, social skills and tackling issues such as behaviour. (This is not a drop in session as it has limited spaces and children need to attend the full 10 weeks). Please speak to Chloe to discuss the Starās programme further.
We can't wait to see you all again! š„³šš
