Have you ever seen a three year old colour in with this much precision and concentration?! And the pen control ✍️and finger grip for that age is fantastic.
Thanks to our fabulous volunteer and retired nursery nurse Linda, our preschoolers have been learning to explore and be creative with colours 🖍️ and textures 🎨 since they were a few months old.
The art activities 🖌️ led by Linda during the Friday morning Pregnancy to Preschool group supports the little ones fine motor development by strengthening finger and hand muscles. While also supporting learning about colour, shape and spatial relationships.
We are looking for a volunteer for our afternoon 🤰🏼Pregnancy to Preschool 👶🏼group who can lead similar activities that will support fine motor development.
You would be part of an 🙌🏻 amazing, enthusiastic team 👏🏻 of staff and volunteers who provide activities to over 130 children and young people in one of our creative and innovative sessions every week.
If you can spare an hour and a half on a Friday between 🕐 13:00 and 14:30 🕝 and are interested in volunteering 🤝 please email 📧 heather@sacristonyouthproject.co.uk
