📑 In 2019 JD Sport’s charity The JD Foundation chose to partner with SYP for a trial year. We are the first charity they had partnered with outside of Manchester and they wanted to see how it would work.

🙌🏻 Following a successful 12 months we were invited to submit an application for a two year partnership.

☑️ The application was successful and started on 1st January 2020 and due to end on 31st December 2021.

But...

🥳🥳🥳 This is the exciting news 🥳🥳🥳

🥁🥁🥁 drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁

☎️ This week JD contacted us to tell us that they have decided already to extend the partnership until 31st December 2022! 👏🏻🎉

💷💷 As well as the financial support the partnership attracts, they also lend the support of their head office staff teams who give their ⌚️ time and 🎓 expertise to the partners and in their free time they participate in a variety of 💷 fundraising activities all year round.

🙇‍♀️💭💻 JD Sports graphics team creating our new logo, strap line and stationery/buisness cards/ID badge templates

🎄🤶🏻 JD Sports head office staff fundraising through Christmas jumper days, 🧢🩳👕 sample clothes sales, 🏔 competing in the three peaks challenge 🚵‍♂️ coast to coast 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️ running competitions, with the money raised being shared between their charity partners.

👋🏻👋🏻 To welcome our young people back to youth club next week head office have sent us 10 boxes of goody bags worth approx £60 each to give out 🛍🎒🧢

🆕🏗🏚 The property team will be overseeing the work on the new youth hub which is due to commence in the next few weeks.
